I had the good fortune and pleasure of pet sitting a couple of really cool cats, Gracie and Opie. These kitties are so much fun, playful, and curious about everything. Their human adores them and spoils them with every comfort. My kind of person for sure!
Gracie and Opie love affection which is such a delight when I meet new cats. We had the best time together. Thankfully, I kept my iPhone handy and snapped a ton of great pics during our visits. Cats aren’t always easy to photograph well, but these two tabbies were ideal models of feline purrfection.

As I began editing the photos, I came across a gem of Gracie trying to direct my attention back on feeding time instead of taking her picture. The shot was too good to pass up as a meme or several.

Every moment captured in a photograph is subject to interpretation. Is Gracie hungry? suspicious? doing an impersonation? shocked by the concept of an unabashed racist bigot as President of the United States in the 21st century? something even more sinister? It’s fun to imagine.
Ultimately, Gracie is a cat so whatever she’s demanding is for self-pleasure. Gotta respect that.
