Raindrops

We had a couple of rainy days recently in the Bay Area. Although it’s far below what we need considering the drought California is facing, every little bit helps. On one of those wet afternoons I was delighted when I walked outside to collect the mail and saw the leaves of our neighbor’s trees perfectly … Read moreRaindrops

Stinson Beach

My soul is replenished by every moment spent on the beach listening to the waves crash. The Pacific Ocean sounds like the heartbeat of dreams.; those coming true and those yet to be seen.

Nothing compares to standing in the moving sand as the waves wash over your feet.

Do it, if you ever get the chance!

The plethora of beach choices in the Bay Area is phenomenal. I’ve lived here more than 2 years, but haven’t made it to all of them yet. One of my very favorites so far is Stinson Beach.

It stretches on almost as far as the eyes can see. One side is dedicated to dogs and their people. There’s so much space for everyone. Even when all the parking lots are full and people are hiking from the main road, you can still grab a spot of sand.

The weather is amazing. When it’s foggy, cloudy, and gray, it’s still a beautiful place to be. From blue skies to sandy beach to green trees and curves of Mother Earth, it’s a therapeutic place of serenity.

We’ve made it our Thanksgiving tradition excursion for the past 2 years. Family time on the beach with apple pie can’t be beat. I highly recommend it.

A Path

My meditation today. I love living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Every moment outside makes me feel extremely grateful. What surrounds you that brings you comfort? Make sure you spend a lot of time with that.

Letting Go

“Letting go means to come to the realization that some people are a part of your history, but not a part of your destiny.”   ~ Steve Maraboli Today I am grateful for those who remove themselves from my life. It is difficult for me to walk away from others, even when I recognize the … Read moreLetting Go

Taking your own path isn’t easy, but it is right.

“The truth is at any given moment, someone, somewhere could be making a face about you. But it’s the reviews you give yourself that matter.” – Carrie Bradshaw I want to be fearless, brave, strong, courageous. To make my sister women proud by exuding gratitude and power with every action. Doesn’t happen most of the … Read moreTaking your own path isn’t easy, but it is right.
